Page-Authority

Page Authority (PA) is a metric from Moz that measures the likelihood of a specific website ranking well in Google's search results. The value is calculated on a scale from 1 to 100, with higher values indicating stronger authority and better ranking potential.

Page Authority is based on various factors, including the number and quality of incoming links, content relevance, and the overall SEO optimization of the page. Unlike Domain Authority (DA), which evaluates the entire website, PA focuses on the strength of individual pages.

An example: A blog post with many high-quality backlinks and relevant content has a higher Page Authority than a new or less-linked subpage. This gives it a better chance of appearing in the top positions of search results.

Since Google does not disclose the exact algorithm for ranking, PA is only an estimate. However, it helps with SEO analysis and indicates which pages of a website should be optimized or strengthened with more backlinks. Continuous improvement of content and link structure can increase Page Authority over the long term.
