TrueView-Anzeigen
TrueView ads are an ad format on YouTube, where users have the option to skip an ad after a few seconds. This model ensures that advertisers only pay when a user actually watches the video or interacts with the ad.
There are two main types of TrueView ads: In-Stream ads, which appear before, during, or after a YouTube video and can be skipped after five seconds, and Discovery ads, which are displayed in search results or as video recommendations.
An example of using TrueView ads is a brand running a 30-second promotional video for a new product. If a user skips the ad after five seconds, no costs are incurred. If they watch longer or click on a link, the ad is counted as engagement and billed.
TrueView ads offer advertisers a cost-effective way to reach a relevant target audience, as only genuinely interested users are counted. They are particularly suitable for branding campaigns, product launches, or generating website traffic.
